Simple by design
GateCode uses essential browser storage for secure authentication and core service operation. We do not need advertising cookies to create, share or verify a GateCode.
1. Essential session cookie
When you sign in, GateCode uses a secure session cookie so the server can recognise your authenticated session. The session cookie is configured with security controls such as HttpOnly and SameSite attributes and is not intended to be read by page scripts.
2. PWA and local browser storage
The GateCode Progressive Web App may cache approved static files so the interface can load efficiently. Sensitive API responses and live GateCode verification results are kept network-only and are not treated as reusable offline authority. Browser storage may also remember limited interface preferences or installation state.
3. Optional analytics or marketing technologies
If GateCode introduces non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking technologies, they will be classified separately and appropriate consent controls will be applied before non-essential storage is used where required.
4. Managing cookies
You can manage or remove browser cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent secure sign-in and some authenticated GateCode features from working correctly.
